It is about an hour of groovy instrumental rock styled music that can easily slip into a background yet keep the vibe bouyant and cheerful. The songs represent my efforts to learn how to write for and play all the instruments in a pop band. I have a fun time with my guitars. I try to keep the bass simple and solid. The keyboards have simple parts and fun "vintage" sounds. Sometimes I hear something in a movie or on the radio and the next morning I record something with a similar feel. Other times I just want to have some fun so I write a quick backing track to jam too. Some things are the result of practice and study of writing parts for specific instruments or effects. I started it in 1999 with a focus on the guitar parts. It was more or less the begining of my lead guitar playing. In 2009 I replaced all the bass tracks with playing that reflects the extra experience I have on that instrument after 10 more years of practice.
