Important Tips for easy use of this kayak and paddle in your poser scenes:
the kayak and kayak paddle are smart props. They are already parented to the default P4 male character in the pose position provided in this package. This is the easiest way to use the kayak:

Begin with a fresh P4 character. This is a good time to rename the character with a distinct name rather than the default figure_~ style name. I generally use something like "kayak-person".

Dress the character as you like. The thumbnail image was rendered with only a t-shirt.

YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE INVERSE KINEMATICS FOR THE LEGS AND ARMS BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER.

Pose the figure by carefully selecting the figures body group. Make sure you haven't mistakenly choosen the body group from a clothing figure. Apply the provided kayak pose to the scene.

The kayak prop is a smart prop and it will parent to the character nicely if added after the character pose has been applied. The kayak paddle is also a smart prop which is parented to the figures left hand. The right hand is not attached to the paddle so if anyone can tell me how to attach both hands please email and I will reissue the package.

how to install:
unzip the hc-kayak.zip file to a temporary directory.
you will find several harmonic cycle folders containing files in the temporary poser 4/~ directory. Copy the new folders and files into the relative folders in your real poser 4/runtime/~ directories.....

copy the harmonic cycle folder containing these prop files:
kayak paddle.pp2
kayak paddle.rsr
kayak.pp2
kayak.rsr
paste this harmonic cycle folder into poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Props/

copy the harmonic cycle folder containing these pose files:
kayak pose.pz2
kayak pose.rsr
paste this harmonic cycle folder into poser 4/Runtime/Libraries/Pose/

copy the harmonic cycle folder containing these texture files:
kayak-hcd.jpg
kayak-paddle-c-fiber.jpg
harmoniccycle-Tshirt.jpg
kayak-uvmap.jpg
kayak-paddle-uvmap.jpg
paste this harmonic cycle folder into poser 4/Runtime/Textures/
